Le Normand Project – Installation of Aluminium Railings and Stair Handrails

Description of the mandate
In this single-family residence located in Montreal , our mandate was to install white aluminum railings and stair handrails to complement a recently rebuilt patio and staircase.
The project aimed to secure access to the patio while providing a modern, durable finish that complies with the requirements of the Quebec Construction Code .
The new railings also had to blend harmoniously with the existing outdoor features and highlight the new patio.
Technical challenges
Although this project is short-term, several adjustments have been made.
necessary to achieve a result that is both aesthetically pleasing and safe.
Adaptation to existing works
The patio and steps had been rebuilt before our intervention.
As is often the case with this type of project, some adjustments
had been made during their construction in order to deal with the
particularities of the terrain and the existing structure.
The installation of the guardrails therefore required several precise adjustments.

comply with the requirements of the Building Code .
to offer a visually harmonious result across the entire patio and staircase.

Final result
This intervention made it possible to complete the exterior design by adding white aluminium railings and stair handrails that blend perfectly into the new patio.
In addition to improving access security , these installations provide a modern, durable finish that requires very little maintenance.
The result enhances the entire outdoor space while providing homeowners with a layout that meets standards and is ready to be used for many years.
